Will started playing rugby in third grade when his father, Rob Holder, got all of his friends together and held a two-week camp in their back yard where he taught the basics of rugby. He continued his rugby after his family moved to Bay Area as a part of the East Palo Alto Razorbacks High School team before heading off to the United States Military Academy at West Point. After a short stint playing college football, he found his way back to the pitch and led the Black Knights to three sweet 16 and one final four appearance. After graduation from West Point and commissioning as a field artillery officer, he joined the Army’s World Class Athlete Program and competed for the Eagles 7s and XVs teams. He has also served at Ft. Sill, OK, Ft. Carson, CO, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
