Nick hails from Sacramento where both his parents played and developed his rugby skillset with the first-rate Jesuit High School rugby program. Following in the footsteps of fellow USA rugby stars and Jesuit alums Blaine Scully and Colin Hawley, Boyer continued his rugby education under the tutelage of Cal rugby legend Jack Clark at the University of California, Berkeley. Accompanying his impressive collegiate career, Boyer earned men’s club recognition with the Denver Barbarians before joining the San Diego Legion for their inaugural year in 2018. During the November Internationals, Boyer earned his first cap with the USA national team in an American victory over Romania in 2018.
