American rugby veteran Louis Stanfill we be joining the Legion in the 2019 season this year, adding his considerable talent to a forward pack already bursting with domestic and international talent. A product of the reliable Jesuit High School Rugby program, Stanfill continued his footy career with Cal Berkeley and contributed to multiple national championships during this tenure there. Talent like his attracted international attention and in 2010 his professional career began in Australia with the Canberra Royals before a brief stint in Italy. Stanfill debuted with the Eagles in 2005 against Canada and gained further experience in an Eagles jersey in the Rugby World Cups of 2007, 2011, and finally in 2015. Returning to California, the 33-year old will help achor the back row and provide another experienced ball-carrier to the Legion offense.
